  The loss of my Archie after 17 years was heartbreaking. He went everywhere with me and was as true a companion as there ever was. He was an integral part of my life, and to lose him was to lose a bit of myself that cannot be regained. Michael was very professional yet kind when the arrangements were made (by my mum as I was too upset to talk). He took the time to tell her what the process involved and how long it would take, and gave her options neither of had previously known we had. And though I missed the call, he let me know ahead of time that he had moved Archie to the front of the queue and would be bringing his remains to me a week ahead of schedule. I don't like surprises, but that was a lovely one. Michael was incredibly sympathetic when presenting Archie's ashes and even held Cordelia, the tiny tuxedo kitten who came to me a scant 32 hours after Archie's passing, while I signed the paperwork. All in all Michael was professional, both in appearance and demeanour, without sacrificing his compassion. I hope that I won't require these services for a long while but when I do I will certainly be calling Cherished Memories.
