  Ever since ALDI has opened up their new location on 13th Street, I stop by there on my way home from work almost every day. The staff there now knows me when I come in and always make a point to say "hello" The prices are much cheaper than most other stores nearby and you can always find something new or seasonal that you cannot live without. They tend to run out of the "good stuff" in the middle of the day so try to get there earlier than later as you will see lots of empty boxes on the shelves after 6 pm. I have seen locals go in and buy up all of a certain item which I find frustrating, but you can find some very good deals there.

  Aldi is my favorite go to store for basics. Price usually can't be beat. No frills shopping. They bring in exceptional great cookies, chocolates, etc. from Germany with prices that probably can't be matched anywhere. Good beer and wine values. Very good snack aisle. Always save money here!

  Best value grocery around. Bring your own bags. Great for basics and products from Germany. Mostly generic products. 25 cent cart fee, returned when you return cart.
